Roy Lee Lowery

Roy Lee Lowery, 75 died Thursday, March 7, 2019, at Novant Hospice Care. He was born on August 15,
1943 to the late Annie Massey Lowery and LeRoy Lowery in Pageland, SC. He attended Petersburg
School in Pageland, SC.
Roy Lowery retired from Owens Illinois in May 1998 after 32 years. He owned and operated a small
engine repair service for over 20 years.
Roy is survived by wife, Sylvia Lowery; sons; Roy Lee Lowery Jr, Stephen Lowery, Micah Lowery(Debbie),
daughters, Erica Cagle (Corey) and Tara Hamilton, grandchildren; Chiquita Lowery, Lee Lowery, Lakeisha
Lowery, Jory Taylor, Noah Hamilton, and Cameron Cagle, Sisters; Shirley Holmes, Annie Lowery and
Linda Lowery, mother in law, Cleveland Hager. Aunts; Betty Lowery and Hattie Jones, Uncle; Edward
Massey, Sisters-in-law; Trena Means (Anthony), and Tammy Crowder(Eric), Brother-in-law; Harry
Hager(Linda), Daryl Hager (Debbie), cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
