O' Lisha Henderson

O’Lisha She’ree Henderson, age 37, departed this life on Friday, May 16, 2025, at her home in Mooresville, NC. She was born on August 20, 1987, to Wyvonia Henderson and Karl Black. O’Lisha was a graduate of Avondale High School in Avondale Estates, Georgia, and furthered her education at Regency Beauty Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she cultivated her talents and passions. O’Lisha held the position of Assistant Manager at Burger King, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a strong work ethic. 

Beyond her career, O’Lisha was vibrant and creative. Her greatest gift was her artistic talent—often creating personalized gifts, gift baskets, T-shirt designs, and accessories with professional craftsmanship. Her creativity was a reflection of her beautiful spirit. 

O’Lisha’s loving care for family, friends, and others defined her life. Her kindness, sweet spirit, and radiant joy will be dearly missed. O’Lisha’s legacy of love, creativity, and authenticity will forever be etched in the hearts of all who knew her.

A treasure of happy memories will be left in the hearts of her parents, Wyvonia Henderson and Karl Black; her grandmothers, Erma Black and Gladys Henderson; her sisters, TaMeka Forney, Dr. Tyanne Mobley, Shilaunda Henderson, and Amanda Henderson; her brothers, Tracey Henderson and Maurice “Ty” Forney; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
