Gladys Williams

Gladys Williams was born to the late Gideon & Dorothy Chlorie on
July 9, 1946, in New York City, New York. On Wednesday, October 9,
2019, Gladys peacefully transitioned to receive her wings from our
father who art in heaven.

Gladys attended public school PS 109, Margaret Knox JHS 99, went to
Washington Irving HS & continued to further her education at Touro
College. Gladys met and married the late James Edward Williams on
August 15, 1964. Gladys was blessed with four children, the late
James Edward Williams Jr and the late Schylevier Felicia Williams and
survived by two Latisha Nicole and Gregory Jermaine Busby.

Gladys was employed with the Board of Education, she loved working
with children and was recognized as an advocate for children. Gladys
was a spiritually uplifting person, compassionate, she had an
infectious sense of humor and nurturer and loved by all.

Gladys will always be loved, cherished, and will be enormously missed
by Daughter: Latisha, her son: Gregory, Grandson: Derrick Jr,
Granddaughter: Tanaisia, Granddaughter: Jahnelle, Great
granddaughter: Nahla, Great-grandson: Derrick III, sisters: Patricia &
Delores, six niece’s: Sheree, Patrece, Kenniescha, Ayesisha, Tameeka
and Tricia, two brother-in-law’s: Tyrone & John and host of grand nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
