Fronza D. Truesdell

Mrs. Fronza Denise Cummings Truesdell was born December 30, 1960, in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Muncie Cummings Sr. and Margaret Boyd Cummings. She transitioned to her heavenly home on Thursday morning, August 25, 2022. She was preceded in death by both parents, Muncie and Margaret Cummings, Sr., sister Sandra Cummings, sister-in-law Cynthia Cummings and nephew Dequila Cummings. Denise grew up in Ebenezer Baptist church in Charlotte, NC where her spiritual foundation was first established. She later joined St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. She loved listening to gospel music, especially John P. Kee. She attended Charlotte Mecklenburg schools and graduated from South Mecklenburg in 1979, where she was a member of the ROTC. Denise was employed at Bobcats Arena as an Inventory Manager for over 10 years until her health begin to fail. On April 4, 1999, Denise married Yul Truesdell and was a devoted, loyal, and loving wife for over 23 years. She loved her family and friends. She was kind-hearted and could always brighten a room with her smile. She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her husband, Yul; brothers; Muncie Cummings Jr. (Havana), Bronnie Cummings (Lucia Berry), and Terry Cummings all of Charlotte, NC: one sister; Alice Cummings of Charlotte, NC: mother in law Brenda Thompson of Charlotte, NC; sisters in law Chanda Truesdell and Tonya Little of Charlotte, NC; nieces; Jenelle Cummings (Nita) of Charlotte, NC; Marlonda Cummings of Atlanta, GA; Shya Truesdell and Symphony Leonard of Charlotte NC; nephews: Tyland Cummings, Shawn Buford (Camile Buford) and Chann Little all of Charlotte, NC; great-nephews: JaQwan Cummings and Nehemiah Quarles of Charlotte, NC and Travis Crosby Jr. (Ciara) of Waldorf, MD; one aunt Helen Egleston of Charlotte; as well as many in-laws, cousins, and devoted friends.
