Mother Blanche Askins ,82, departed this life on Friday May 18, 2018 in Fredericksburg  Va.

She was the wife of the late Frank Askins Jr, and the mother of Vanessa Wood, Phillip Askins and Dr. Howard Askins.

Wake services are scheduled to be held at Troy's Funeral Home, 247 NE Front St, Mullins, SC 29574 on Friday May 25, 2018, 6pm-8pm.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church 1333 Penderboro Rd., Marion, SC 29571 on Saturday May 26, 2018 at 1:00pm with visitation at 12 noon.

She will be laid to rest in the Devotion Gardens Cemetery.
