Arthur Jackson III, 

Son of Daisy Simmons Jackson and Arthur Jackson Jr

 Brother to Audrey M. Jackson and Johnny L. Jackson,

  Born on February 26, 1943 in Memphis, TN.

  Arthur grew up in the Rock of Ages Baptist Church, attended St. Augustine Elementary School and graduated from Father Bertrand High School.

In early 1961, Arthur joined the US Air Force where he rapidly advanced to the rank of Airman 3rd Class in his first year.

He trained in medical and culinary specialties and served conscientiously during the Vietnam War. 

Arthur’s greatest achievement has been his children: Brianne N. Jackson of Charlotte, NC and her son Kah'Miriyon ; Tanya L. Walker of  Carrollton, TX and her children, Randal, Drew and Darryl and the late Arthur Jackson IV. 

Arthur also thrived because of a loving extended family, buddies throughout the years and a host of friends.
