On December 6, 1959 at Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, N.Y. a beautiful baby girl named Angeles Williams was born to Rebecca Ann Williams and the late J.B. Williams of South Carolina.
As a little girl she was a member of Greater Second Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Dr. E. Mitchell Mallette.
Angeles went to Freeport High School where she earned her H.S. Diploma. Upon graduating she entered the United States Army where she served our country for 3 years. She became a skilled at working alongside air craft carriers as well as reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant.
She lived in El Paso, Texas where she gave birth to Kamisha who passed shortly after.
While on active duty in the US Army, Angeles met the love of her life Paul Simpson who was also a soldier and would become her husband. They moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where they started raising their 3 daughters.
Angeles loved reading, especially romance novels. She also enjoyed listening to Gospel and R&B music. She was inspired by sermons on tv and T.D. Jakes was her greatest inspirational speaker. She donated money to various organizations to help keep these inspiring churches on tv, such as Joel Osteen and Joyce Meyers. A great passion of hers were children. Her heart was deeply moved to donate money to children funds to help support their needs.
Angeles was called home on the morning of February 18, 2019 surrounded by her loved ones.
